My interest in dance pedagogy began when I was 14; I worked as an assistant teacher at Pat Barker Academy of Dance, teaching RAD ballet from Pre Primary to Grade 3. In 2014 I began working as an assistant teacher at Rochelle School of Dance, teaching IDTA ballet from Preparatory to Grade 3. I also independently organised and taught a variety of non syllabus classes, audition preparation, exam coaching, private lessons and repertoire workshops. In 2017 I organised and taught a 3 day Easter school and 5 day Summer school to children aged 11 to 16, offering classes in classical ballet, contemporary, conditioning, and a variety of repertoire from iconic ballets such as Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty. In August 2017 I spent 2 weeks working in Milan, teaching English for London School Rovereto. In 2018 I was awarded my IDTA Diploma in Dance Teaching, which I passed with Distinction in all modules. I taught RAD ballet at The Dance Factory in Clapham over Winter 2017, and am currently working freelance teaching across London; my recent employers include Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, and the South London Ballet School.
